Description
Art by Duy Truong..................Tammy has traveled back in time in order to see that the Magna Carta was properly written. She meets Baron Robin Fitzwalter (later known as Robin Hood) in time to see Baynard's Castle torched by King John. Robin comforts his daughter Matilda while the Castle burns in the night.
I was in tears with all that had happened so quickly. Alfred and the others comforted me as best they could. I could hear the others making plans. The knights would gather at a meeting place and decide what to do. All the servants would go to relatives in London Town. They explained that London was filled with refugees from burnt-out lands. Maddy and Hugh said, "Do naught worry about this, Mistress Wutherington. We will all recover from this in time."
I could see this was not the end of the world. I now understood what it was to live in the Dark ages under the rule of a ruthless tyrant. To hear that a castle of a Baron was destroyed would bring me visions of this terrible night. It was good that Lucinda had sent me here to be a part of all this. I brushed away my tears. I knew that I would be stronger for this experience. It would give me a resolve as never before.
