Description
Tammy and the Declaration of Independence: The Wurtherington Diary.
Art by Duy Truong
I stood beside him in the center of the hall. "Thank you, Thomas Jefferson and good persons who have gathered to sign this historic document. I can stand here as a humble ten-year-old child and tell you that this may very well be the most important moment in the birth of a new nation. Of course I am honored to be here with you and will speak for the future generations that will benefit from your courage in affixing your signatures to the Declaration of Independence. I understand that you do all of this with regret only because of the injustices that have been thrust upon you. In that the injustices that continue to flow across the Atlantic seem to become progressively worse from King George III with each passing day, I understand that you must do this for your yourselves and for your children. If your children are to have any life at all, this course is the only path.
