Description
Wurtherington, Diary, art by Tenda Spencer.
August 9, 1324
Dear Diary,
We were all happy to arrive in the dry Sahara without any problem except for Zeke who landed on his head and spit up sand.
"Phooey!" he said.
We landed near the tail of the caravan and made friends with Moussa and Wali who were in charge of Lofti the camel and three hundred pounds of gold. We did not ask a lot of questions as we wanted them to believe we were there all along. I could see the caravan stretched for miles. I did discover that there were around fifty thousand in the caravan. It was an entire city on the move

Wonderful work Reynold - simply out of this world! What an imagination you have and what a masterstroke to show this scene with the caravan gently drifting away into the horizon. V&Fav'.

This is Spencer's work once again. He wasn't happy with it until he decide to add that palm branch that is off to the side. Thank you Marie. You are a gem.
